What is the future of wireless charging? World's first "REAL" wireless charger!!

Wireless charging is one of the best solution for wired charger's inevitable break. Just simply put your phone on the charger and that's it, it starts to charge. Although it is called wireless, they are still not completely wireless, like wireless network or a wireless game controller. Devices should be placed so close to the charger, or else it won't charge.

Now we are introduced to are called 'Qi' wireless charging. There will be two coils, one on the device and other inside the charging pad. If they are brought close to each other , the electro magnetic field between each other will be converted in to power for the phone. But Devices can only be charged, if it is in the range of the changer, which is really short. In shots you can call it a contact charger. When we use the smartphone while charging , it has to stop, but with the wired connection your smartphone can keep going.

Pi charger

There are some companies came forward with some ideas to resolve these problems. For example ; pi charging. They use magnetic field bending to charge devices. Any smartphones or tablets. Not one but multiple. Smartphones does not need to touch the pi to start charging. At a limited distance it can be charged and can also use it with no problem. They also built cases that help to charge devices with no charging standard. Although pi came with an incredible idea they have some restrictions, like the device have to be in range. As it move out of the range, charging starts to slow down. If we reach a distance, the charging will be in in Milli Watts instead of Watts. Instead of charging the device it will only slow down the process of battery draining.

Wattup wireless charging by Energous

A company named energous have different approach. It is called Wattup wireless charging. Instead of a converting electricity in to magnetic field, they built a cylindrical hub which converts it into Radio frequencies. This device has a range up to 15 feets. With in this range any devices with battery can pickup this frequencies and convert it back to electricity. It may be smartphone, game controller or a wireless headphone. If this hub is placed, no devices have to be charged which is not used frequently or consume charge slowly.  If this technology introduced everywhere, devices like laptops, smartphones etc. don't need a battery built into them, makes it even cooler.

As the time passes it's getting unpredictable what is going to happen in the future of the world of technology. We can only await for new and interesting things like these.
